Instarmac are a multi-award-winning market leading specialist with a solid reputation based on the research, development, and production of innovative materials for use in highway maintenance, urban regeneration, tiling, commercial flooring and internal finishing sectors. Instarmac were interested in Solar PV to help reduce their energy spending, improve their carbon footprint, and maximise sustainability efforts.
The Solution
Our delivery partners designed a bespoke 768kWp Solar PV System for their site, sized for efficiency based on their electricity consumption. This system will generate free, clean energy which will power Instarmac’s site every day.
The Results & Feedback
This 768kWp system will generate over 667,000kWh in year 1, providing Instarmac with a total year 1 saving of £125,518. The project payback period for this system is around 4 years. This system helps Instarmac reduce their reliance on grid power and protects against future cost rises.
