The Background
Crystal Doors are a manufacturer of bespoke vinyl-wrapped doors based in Rochdale. Working with our delivery partners we originally designed and installed a 105kWp solar PV system onto the roof of Crystal Doors. In Phase 2, Crystal doors wanted an additional 141kWp of Solar PV installing. This expansion will significantly boost the company’s energy efficiency and sustainability efforts, further reducing their carbon footprint.
The Solution
We installed an additional 141kWp Solar PV System onto Crystal Doors’ building roof. The system is now estimated to generate around 205,935kWh of clean renewable energy for the business to use for free on-site.
The Results & Feedback
The result is a quality PV system that is reducing Crystal Doors’ energy spending as well as mitigating their exposure to future energy cost rises. The System will also have an income and savings of £22,400 per annum for the business.
